Mmm... not much to say today. I'm bored so I'm blogging since I'll be gone for five days to NY (yes shopping! I mean... sight seeing and visiting galleries... and... historical monuments.. Yes! Shopping!.. dooo doo doo..). Sigh, I wish this Christmas holiday was forever so we could always have sleepovers and go skating and such... I love the window displays at Christmas time! HAHA.
Hm. I really have nothing to say at this moment (psst my brain is on holiday!). How about "sweet lord, if your lordship were at leisure, I should impart to you a thing from His Majesty'. Ahem, an excerpt from Hamlet which I have memorized (what a loser I am!). I hope you guys all have a wonderful Christmas! Don't drink and drive! :P

so pissed off. I think there's something wrong with me and my view on christians in general. Christians I believe have read too much into quoting from the Bible when people just need them to listen. Christian 'friends' Christian family. Do I even know these people?! Why must they give a Bible answer every time?! Or not act like a Christian at all?! ARGH.. stop it.. just stop. I was telling my mom how frustrated I was about the Christmas dinner and then she goes on telling me what the whole purpose of this Christmas dinner is and remember that it's to serve God and it's all for God.. blah blah blah.. I just wanted her to listen to me. I just told her "well sometimes people just want you to listen to them" I was gonna add in the "not preach part" but I think she'd get mad at me. After a moment of silence she told me that "well you should still think about your motives." akjerhaekjlrahekjr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay I totally know that this is not to glorify my art skills and stuff but hello, I just need someone to not condemn me for once. Or to give me some Bible answer. I think she got the idea cuz she was nice to me after. -_-. You tell me to 'get involved' with the church so in serving, I can make friends (and I have almost none.). and I am serving.. so where are the friends? Well to be honest, I'm running a one man team here. I've done six heads today and figured out how to do the bases for the heads. Yeah.. Four more to go.. sigh... I still need lights and tablecloths and candles....

Yes well anyway... I don't think I get along very well with many Christians and I don't know why. I have problems. It seems that all my good friends are not Christians... probably cuz.. iono..Perhaps it's because it seems that Christians carry themselves as if they're better than everyone else? Or they try to hard to look as if their life is so cool?... ergh... why?! What's wrong with me? Maybe I'm just turned off by all the 'christiany' answers and all the cliches? Have I embraced the world more than I should've? why do I not care that I am like totally cut off from the church? Why am I always so eager to move on and get to another church? I have never been to a church for a long time (unless you count RHCCC for the first years of my life which I don't count since my parents chose to go there). I feel so cut off from all thes Christian groups. I think it's a problem?? Send me to a mental hospital. I'm joking. This is a rant. The end.

Hey Dear Friend,
Lol. Yes I'm schizo like Gollum. It's so easy to change moods when you're writing however face to face, it takes me a while to change expressions. Lol.
Dude I can't believe it's gr 12 (for the billionth time.. ew.. what a cliche. okay I'll stop). Now you don't cringe as much when I tell you I have life drawing. I can't wait till our lil skating party. Yes and you can fall again and get all wet. muahaha... you're super at skating for a first timer.
I can't wait to show you your present.. Lol. I hope you'll love it as much as you love your Scrump.
Isn't it sad that love is only spoken of between a girl and a guy? What happened to the beauty of love in a friendship? I think that is equally, if not even more, beautiful than that of a relationship that concerns lovers. And if love is seen between a pair of... 'same gender people' (oh yes go english maestro!), it's considered homosexuality. so sad and so stupid n'est-ce pas? Lol.
Okay well send me more txt msgs cuz I never get them on time.. then again dont cuz that means I have to delete all the old ones which start from my little trip to the west coast and I dont' wanan delete those! Anyway I must go now! I love you, bye bye.

Last week I was pretty 'distraught' and discouraged over some things and I was flipping through the back of my Bible where they give you good verses according to topic. I came across one by accident: discouragement. What I read just blew me away because I couldn't believe how much this chapter applied to me. I started crying because it was something I just needed to hear because it fit so well within my 'dilemma'. So here it is (not much of my own words for today, just the Message). Galations 6:

Nothing but the Cross1Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day's out. 2Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ's law. 3If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.4Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. 5Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.6Be very sure now, you who have been trained to a self-sufficient maturity, that you enter into a generous common life with those who have trained you, sharing all the good things that you have and experience.7Don't be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others--ignoring God!- 8harvests a crop of weeds. All he'll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God's Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.9So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. 10Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.11Now, in these last sentences, I want to emphasize in the bold scrawls of my personal handwriting the immense importance of what I have written to you. 12These people who are attempting to force the ways of circumcision on you have only one motive: They want an easy way to look good before others, lacking the courage to live by a faith that shares Christ's suffering and death. All their talk about the law is gas. 13They themselves don't keep the law! And they are highly selective in the laws they do observe. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast of their success in recruiting you to their side. That is contemptible!14For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. 15Can't you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do--submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! 16All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God--his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!17Quite frankly, I don't want to be bothered anymore by these disputes. I have far more important things to do--the serious living of this faith. I bear in my body scars from my service to Jesus.18May what our Master Jesus Christ gives freely be deeply and personally yours, my friends. Oh, yes!

Amen to that.
