Hey hey..... hanging out with you was fun today.. Perhaps the last until Christmas time. But you never know. So here's to you and I with our yoghurt fruit parfaits and our good memories together ever since I was born (since you ARE older than me by eight months):

-Your yellow room (overly bright and super messy)
-Your neighbour's super gross never-been-cleaned swimming pool
-Walking to Shoppers Drug Mart to look at fragrances and magazines (and we checked what kind of make up would look good for our genetic makeup)
-Laughing at the garish orange boutenniere (or however you spell it) that you were gonna give Derek (and never did)
-Your last minute prom dress shopping (as usual)
-NEVER spending money whenever we shop (until today!)
-Our vows to work out all the time (which always failed miserably)
-Checking out gyms together
-Cruisin' on the west coast
-Earnestly looking through the racks at Winners (my pink shorts! nooo..... lol)
-Laughing at our quirky relatives
-Shopping in HK (did we even do much?? I can't remember)
-Watching dvds at my place (like Love Actually... haha.. what a coincidence eh?)
-Your funny laugh (which makes me laugh in turn)
-Your stupid silly dvds like 'Shaolin Soccer' (which I did not find really funny at all.. apparently it was hilarious to you)
-Writing me an email for three hours on a few questions. Lol.
-Buying me those flip flops from Pac Sun
-your Josh Harnett crush way back when
-Doing the 'M.A.S.H' game and I ended up with Brian from the Backstreet Boys and you laughed at me hysterically
-Swimming
-Making up synchronized swimming routines and we even drew them out (I still have our first one somewhere.. that was like ten-twelve years ago)
-Playing tag with our brothers round and round your basement before it was renovated (daniel and his SailorMoon moves.. lol)
-Going to Chicago!! That was the best.. Marshall Fields all the way.. Your bikini hunt (omg I sat outside for such a long time in Pac Sun waiting for you to try it on)...Cheesecake Factory.... that was the best.. the whole vacation was awesome... the outdoor mall... wooo....
-Sharing our spiritual life.. church life....
-Your few letters that were sent to me whilst I was in HK
-Sleeping over at your house (remember you said I konked out in 20 secs the first night?)
-Your list of guys that 'could not live without you' in Gr 7 and 8. LOL. I thought you were the most arrogant person.
-The good ol' friend that comes once a month.. LOL
-Jogging a mile (wow I did it! LOL... after you, tammy and I freaked out at the front of the dark dark boat)
-Heat rash. Don't you dare laugh at me anymore!
-The coded Gr 8 grad letter you gave me that I had to decode using a few letters that you already gave me..
-My baking... my stocked up fridge with never ending ice cream. LOL
-Coming to my house so that you could help me do my hair and make up for my graduation
-Kayaking at the Catalina Island (you had so many breaks! I did the paddling loser! Lol)
-Listening to 'Always' and trying to play it on the piano with the help of Uncle Peter.. haha
-Shopping and getting Laura Secord ice cream.
-Dolce and Gabbana men's perfume turns you on. HAHA.
-Going to your church for a while.

Fine since you need to leave I will post these things up for now. :). Kudos to you.

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. 1 James

12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 1 James

16Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 1 James

For 'you' and 'you'(ahem viv you should be familiar with this chapter considering you were supposed to memorize it... and beyond the words 'Greetings' LOL. That's so jokes eh?):

Accountability. Sounds like a good thing to keep up with this year considering it's our last year of high school. It'll be fun, to build each other up in preparation for the big 'U'.
I don't really think the basis of your belief should be on 'feeling' God's presence, because feelings are pretty shaky and how exactly do you 'feel' His presence? When your endormorphine (is that your happy hormone or what? I've just read about it in health articles.. lol. correct me if I am wrong O great coming of age scientists/nutritionists/biologists/doctors blah blah/nerdy pple!) sky rockets at a big worship concert? I'm sure it is a great feeling, that feeling when you worship with 1000 teenagers at this huge stadium (btw pple go to ATF with me... Lol. you can camp out at my place the night before if you want) but the foundation of your relationship with the Maker should not be based on your 'good feelings'. What if something bad happens.. and you don't 'feel' Him? I guess it's like any other friendship you have. When things go bad it doesn't mean he/she does not exist, it just may be a temporary rift in your relationship.
I can also connect with what you said about doubting His existence from school. When I was in HK we had to do Religious studies and Buddhism seemed so great cuz you get to believe whatever you want and hey, that's so flexible and you can basically be in charge of what you believe in. And I was like "wow this is so awesome!". Yeah and there was a time when I thought evolution seemed more plausable but when I looked further into it, seriously, it contains a ton of flaws and gaps. But of course I can't explain every minute detail of why it's wrong and stuff like that. I believe God just told us the numerical order of what He made first, second, third etc because that's what He believes is the most important for us to understand. HOW he made it, we don't really know but that's not exactly the most important aspect of our faith because we will never really know how he made the earth, we can only speculate. And if you really knew how God made the world, would it really change what you presently now believe in? Jesus already said "blessed are those who have not seen me but still believe" and I find great comfort in that. I mean Jesus performed many miracles and so many pple still not believe him... geeez.... What does it take for a person to believe?
Sometimes I'd just sit and think and a shadow of doubt just crosses my mind "is God real?" "Why doesn't he do anything miraculous in my life?" "Can I really trust Him in everything I do and everything I will become?" "does he really care about my future?". Perhaps we don't understand why He works the way he does. We will never completely understand His ways but hey, if Moses wasn't allowed to see God's face because if he did, he'd die, I don't think we can really fathom His plans. If you really search in the Bible and pray about it, I'm sure He'll reveal some answer to you. Sometimes I feel as if having a religion is just a comfort thing... a psychological thing that can help you through bad times so you have something to rely on and I admit, it is partially that feeling of being able to rely on a superior being and allowing someone to have total control of your life that makes religion more.... let's say, comfortable. I admit, sometimes having to find an answer in the bible is like finding the needle in a haystack... cuz exactly where do you look for it? So sometimes I just flip through my array of christian books on whatever or ask a friend ;) (you guys have been a lot of help you know that?? really I mean it) or my aunt or my cousin or some relative of mine... or sometimes I just sit and think and the answer just pops up. Lol. Have you ever done that before? I mean once I was thinking "If God made the world, who made God?". It kinda stumped me but it just struck me that "If someone made God: either by accident or by design.. God wouldn't BE god... cuz then you can't call God 'God' because then there must be someone more superior than him! The one who created God! If he was made out of dust like us, dust would be kinda like the Divine one." LOL. you get what I mean? I don't even know why I'm writing this.. guess I was kinda connecting with what you were saying....
When you said you were in awe of the beauty of this world (natural world that is) you could not believe that you denied the existence of God and I had the exact same experience... except it was on the other side of the continent driving to LA. If you read my previous post... I could not believe the beauty of the rugged mountains that were in shades of periwinkle and lavender and the golden rolly grassy hills that glinted in the sun. The sky was cloudless and the star shone bright on the endless rows of crops on the ground. It was absolutely breathtaking. And plus I was listening the hillsong cd! hahaha... And seriously I was tearing cuz it was soooo nice (okay fine I'm emotional so what?)and I was thinking "how could anyone doubt your majesty?". I've been wondering what Heaven looks like lately.. And if this earth takes our breath away, I bet you Heaven will suck the life out of us. Lol. I try to imagine what Heaven would be like.. would it be similar to earth? Would there be mountains and forests? Or is it something completely and utterly different? Lol. Just my random thoughts...
But anyway I think the accountability thing is great. And I guess it'll build us all up both spiritually, mentally and bonding wise. Lol. IF it actually happens. And I'll get to know you guys better. And I mean don't you wanna get to know meeeee better?!?!? HAHAHA. But what else is there to know about me? Lol. Well I wanna know you better.... all you guys. Lol. Okay I've been blabbering on about nothing for the past hour and I know this makes no sense and has no 'thesis' to it and no structure but whatever.. my brain is a pile of mush after doing inexplicit derivatives (yeah right.. that was easy so I'm just making excuses). I've just realized I'm smarter than all you guys at math for now! HAHAHA.. YES! Sam is at the top of the mathematical group (yeah right.. just let me think that for now and you laugh from above. Lol). Love you guys!
Btw, the first verse really helped me!

Did you rise the sun for me? Paint a million stars that I might know your majesty? Is your voice upon the wind? Is everything I've known marked with my Maker's fingerprints? Breathe on me. Let me see your face. Ever I will seek you. Cuz all you are is all I want. Always. Draw me close in your arms. Oh God, I wanna be with you. Can I feel you in the rain? Abandon all I am to have you capture me again. Let the earth resound with praise. Can you hear his own creation lives to glorify one name.
Wow I have not blogged in here for ages. Lol. Now I wish I was about to embark on my 'fantastic' journey to the west coast again.. I don't wanna go to schoooooool. -_- I hate this gnawing feeling I can sense in my gut... argh...
Aw.. so many pple are leaving to university life again... Like my cousin whose ditching me to go to Queens... You suck so much... I won't get to hang around with you!
And congrats to Dorothy for freaking 'passing' her ARCT exam with a whopping 90%!!! GEEZ.... I wanna kill her. you are such a nerd! Lol. Now start doing the bulletin board! Lol.
I like this song.. :) It's sooo intimate (fine kitty, don't think it's THAT nice of a song.. but I think it is!). Yeah did I mention that I changed the song on my blog? Listen to it. It's soo peaceful... I listened to it on the cruise, in SF and in the 15 person van going to LA.... watching the rolling hills... it was absolutely wonderful. :D WEll well well.. gonan goo for now.. this entry is dedicated to viv and kitty.. cuz they want me to start blogging and posting this song up was an incentive so there!
