Nonsensical!
I guess you do create your own opportunities.
It kind of sucks that we're all back in school because now I feel like the Torontonians have faded and taken a back seat.
And I don't think I could live this way where I have seasonal friends who only are in my life when I'm present in the country.
So yeah I haven't been talking to many people on MSN anymore since everyone has dispersed and living their university life. It gets a little lonely remembering the summer and having it be the way it is now. Everyone is busy. I only have 19 hours of school (okay compared to the 30 hours I had last year it a heck less of a burden on me). So tv and watching movies has replaced being on the computer and I get to talk to my roomie.
Yeah so today I got fed up with not talking to anyone so I messaged a slew of people and ended up talking to seven people at once. It was nice. :)
Church was good today too except I keep meeting so many people I forget everyone- it's really sad. Today I reintroduced myself to this guy I forgot until he told me he went to the university of Michigan. After church, Robyn, her roomie Karen, our new friend Jessica and I cabbed our way to the NYU area and went to this small restaurant/cafe called Peanut Butter and Co. because Robyn had coupons for a 'Buy 1 Sandwich, get a Jar of PB Free'. So all the sandwiches were overpriced- I got a 'Jerry Seinfeld Special' for a whopping $6 which consisted of a toasted bagel with peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon- the cashier was really rude and ruined the experience. Well the expensive cost of the sandwich was made up by the jar of peanut butter which was retailed for $6- I picked their 'Dark Chocolate Dream' kind.. Yummy. I want to try it tomorrow for breakfast.
Yep so this coming Saturday, Jessica invited us all to her NYU dorm for a laundry party (because it costs me $2 per load and another $2 to dry at my place) for $1 per load. I'll buy some stuff from Chinatown to bring over or maybe I'll get some flour and make brownies. Hahaha. Yay.... perhaps this is God's answer to my prayers??
My mom sent me a mooncake tin of two mooncakes (one for Robyn) and a plethora of other things like baking chocolate, a Toblerone (which I consumed in one day by myself- whatever- I walk a lot.. lol I'm kind of reckless), some Chinese powder, random tea bags, a Sugus, and coca cola candies. Ultra random but very nice. She's also sending me a lot of fashion articles from the Toronto Star- very cute. :) Oh mothers.
Yup that's my nonsensical entry for today.
