Human relationships are so incredibly complex. it's so difficult to describe them. They're constantly changing for the better or the worse. When we were young, you were either my friend or you weren't.
There are those friendships in which you instantly connect on a very superficial level and as you try to get somewhere, they die. Out of frustration perhaps. Out of hopelessness. When you stop to care but at the same time you want something to work but you feel it's beyond your reach so nothing happens. And it dies.
