If I didn't go into an art related career, I think my next prefered position in life would to open up a patisserie or a chocolaterie and bake and create for the rest of my life. haha. although that is somewhat art related. I'd imagine it to be somewhat like the film 'Chocolat' (okay life doesn't often imitate movies but you get my drift). Of course it'd have to resemble somewhat of a traditional french cafe or something with white marble top counters and dark wood shelves. Mmm but that would be nice to have regulars come in and you eventually get to know them and everything. Just like in Chocolat. ;)
Then again I'd love to own a vintage clothing shop just like the one at Elora, telling personal stories of their encounters with the specific item and how it came to this place. The shop at Elora, named 'Sweet Trash', is the most beautiful little shop. When you enter, it's as if you've stepped into another world- a world of jazz music, tinkling pianos, rouge, crushed velvet and feathered hats. It's always such a pleasure to walk into a shop with told stories, memories and nostalgia.
