Icy chills round your heart. A heart that's made of stone. It seems like life is out to get you to destroy what you want. I know that, that you blame me for all that you go through. It could be, so different if you would just let it go. You're all alone, running out of ways to hold on to hope and it always slips away. You're all alone but you don't have to pretend to cope. There is a brighter way.
If you would change your perspective you'd see that it is true. Life is not always what you want. Sometimes it's hard to bear. I'd be with you, and help you in all that you go through. I love you, let Me change your heart by coming in. You're all alone. Running out of ways to hold on to hope and it always slips away. You're all alone but you don't have to pretend to cope. There is a brighter way. -All Alone, Kutless.
Funny how things can speak to you at the right time. I was crying with frustration because all that I want to do well in, I don't get the marks I want. I did more than what was required for my interior design project: mounting pictures and floorplans on foam core to get more a three dimensional effect, bought different materials for sampleboard so I'd get variety, finished on time, bought $4 markers and coloured the entire drawing of the kitchen... and then I tried to get a good mark for my chair project and still it wasn't perfect. And then there was my impressionist painting in which I did worse than someone who didn't try and just did an UNDERPAINTING (wash of colour for shading) and then there was that scraperboard project and my teacher did not see the image like I did and gave me a 79. I was extremely pissed off. And then there was my collage which I did not try in and got a 90. What's wrong with the stupid system. I don't get it.
Anyway I think the first encouragement I got came from Spiderman 2 (as long as it was.. it dragged.. crawled) in which Parker said that sometimes to do the right thing, we must sacrifice our dreams.
Second one came from my mix of songs I had copied onto my WMP and it just so happened to be the song 'All Alone' by Kutless (again) and I found it extremely applicable and encouraging in which I was able to connect with. Sigh. I love this song. But Robyn has my cd! Cough. I want it back, I can only listen to the first five on my computer and a few on my mp3.. booo....
