I had a dream last night that my friend and I were getting revenge on this annoying guy and we went into his bedroom and ransacked it and through the whole thing I was scared that we'd get walked on.


So today I got to chill with Sarah F, Vanessa and Soph and we rented Matchpoint with John Rhys Meyers and Scarlett Johansson. Not many people have heard about it surprisingly. It's directed by Woody Allen. Anyway it's about an affair Rhys Meyers's character has with Scarlett Johansson. Your typical love triangle story? No not quite. It's really good actually. It's deals with issues concerning luck and how it plays within our lives. Most people say the wealthy and the famous did it all through hard work yet cannot admit much of it is due to luck. I would like to say what happens in the end but I don't want to ruin it for others. He gets away with something- yes from pure luck- yet one questions whether or not he truly was lucky. In a sense he was able to keep his physical freedom but is imprisoned by past memories and of his own actions within the mind. However the script was kind of weird and static. They'd have all these pick up lines which sounded kind of lame. If you play tennis or know how tennis works in a very simplistic form, it becomes more interesting too.
The picture above is of Rhys-Meyers. We all loved his open trench coat with the chocolate brown sweater and black pants. So I basically did my usual thing and paused the dvd and took a picture of it. LOL.


AHHHHHHHH!!!! My friend Soph told me that the main theme song from Requiem for a Dream (my love) was used in the Lord of the Rings Two Towers trailer. I found it on yahoo- it's on the longer version: Trailer 1. And it's true! All my favourite movies are borrowing from one another. Aw I'm so proud of them. I've watched the trailer four times already. I shall really watch the films tomorrow and remember why I was captivated by these movies in the first place. Click to see:

I love all the characters.. Tolkien is pure genius. I had troubles reading the books because they're really flowery and in language that I'm not really accustomed to reading (style wise).


hm. Reading an interesting fashion (don't judge) forum made up of girls ranging 12-20 something: specifically a thread pertaining to Ethiopia, hunger and how people here can afford to buy $5000 bags and not feel guilty or don't donate money. More later.
